Fire Department Orthopaedic screens:
Restore is in its second year of a new and exciting program with the Mesa Fire Department. During their annual physicals we are doing a 20 minute consultation which each fireman/woman to evaluate any problem areas and educate them on methods, techniques, or modifications to decrease the manifestation of problems in the specified body site. We have had great response from last year and are enjoying this year in helping highly active people decrease injuries and correct those nagging ones.
Stretch Class:
Mike Rich and Shannon Smith are in their second year of training the trainers at Chandlers Intel corporation in proper stretching during breaks to decrease work injuries.
Cervical Study Research:
Restore Group is currently rolling out a research study with spine surgeons to better understand the doctors and patients needs after spinal surgery. We are also combining research into pre and post therapy regarding range of motion, posture, and pain scales. This is gaining momentum daily and we hope our findings will help those suffering from spinal problems in the future.
Posture Education tool:
With our strong belief in educating the patient we are now in production of "Posture Patty" (a head on a stick) which helps people understand the magnitude of their 8 pound head on the end of their spine. For more information, please contact Mike Rich at mike.rich@restorept.net.
